For the people living in country, it was a little late to make pickled vegetables for the winter. We thought to finish this work at Saturday, but in fact, we finished it at Sunday, it was just because the heavy snowstorm and the vegetables couldn’t be made well. Fortunately, one hundred and fifty heads of cabbages were well made at last.

Fresh and a little badly grown cabbage is shown here. Cut it from the middle, yes! It’s better than normal cabbages.

Put some salt into the warm water and put the cabbages into it. We also need to turn over the cabbages at about 12o’clock, and because of this we couldn’t get much sleep. There are so many things to do.

Only one time one year, my husband was cutting the radishes. (Titters)

These were the pickled cabbages at 10:00a.m. in second morning, we thought to get some help from other people, but because on Monday most of people were very busy, and another reason was we hadn’t pickled the cabbages on Sunday, so we had no people to help us. As planned, a sister nearby would come to help me, but now she wasn’t still here.

So, I had to do this work myself. Fifty cut radishes, thirteen kilograms of pepper powder, four scallions and a little salt, onions, boiled water with green tea. Mixed them together and stirred.

Oh, yeah! We just took 3hours to get all of them done. From beginning to the end, with no others’ help, I finished them all by myself. I felt so tired, I could feel pains in my arms and my back.

After finishing the work, I came to house and found that my pretty nephew had fallen asleep, recently, I worried so much for my nephew’s cold, but now he looked better. I must thank you for no disturbing over the 3-hour pickled cabbages making period. Finally it was finished, although there was one day later than plan, maybe I would be too tired to move, so I could have a rest tomorrow, of course, no way to sleep over a day. (Titters)
