The Korean production base for cucumbers—The Farm BongHwang 52(봉황52)

Hello, everyone. I’m very glad to introduce the production base for cucumber—The Farm BongHwang 52(봉황52). The manager of BongHwang 52 Farm is Mrs. Jo Yeong Sug. She loves farming and devoted herself to the farm of cucumber. Her Farm BongHwang located at the City CheonAn in Korea.
In these days, the crown of the year for cucumbers has arrived. Maybe because of the nice weather in Korea or the increasing cultivated area for cucumber, the price of cucumber dropped.
In order to sell our products online, we usually pack the cucumbers as the method that every 4 cucumbers are packed in a packing bag, then freeze the packed cucumbers in the fridge. Recently, many people buy cucumbers from us with the purpose losing weight, so the packing method above seems very popular. In our farm, we also bunch the best 4cucumbers and pack six bunches together as the special product to sell, the price is the small amount of 10,000won, i.e. about 8$(including the transport charges). The 8$ includes about 2.6$ for transport charges and 5.4$ for the cucumbers, our farm charges about 1.4$ much more than other sellers, this is because recently we are indeed so busy and so tired.
In this box, there are 50 cucumbers which are not all the good ones. And these packages are ready to sell directly in the market. So, a box of 50cucumbers is sold as the price of 15,000won, i.e. 12$.

Because of the price dropping in the market, we sometimes give the cows the excess cucumbers as the snacks. Watching the cows enjoying the cucumbers, the manager’s mood must be not good.(chuckles) Even though the mood is not so good, maybe giving the cows in calf the cucumbers is also another method to achieve the purpose of environmentally-friendly products.

The picture above is the scene we sell our cucumbers in front of a park nearby in Mid-autumn festival. Sure enough, I’m just a farmer but not a seller, because anyway I can’t make me as a huckster.(sobbing)
