The cultivating working for cucumbers

The weather in February was so warm, like the warm spring has arrived. We even has the impulse to put on the short sleeve to work. We planted the seeds in February 7th but not the 12th as planned.
After the seed germinated, we granted the seeding onto the rootstalk of pumpkins. Then stored them in the nursery for about 20days. When they were “married” to the warm house, like suffering a strict mother in law, they must struggle against the coldness in early spring. Thanks goodness, our cucumbers wouldn’t die because of the coldness even though shrinking up.
I was also so sorry to hear of that some of neighborhood’s cucumbers have died.

The appearance after 10days: much bigger and tendril also grew up, thanks to the warming facility in our farm, some cucumbers could grow much better. And when you pickle the cucumbers, warming up could make the duration of the storage to be much longer, so our cucumbers is very popular here.

The children were playing in the warm house. The temperature is very different between the warm house and outside, like summer and winter.(chuckles)

The cucumber was cultivated in the kindergarten’s classroom where children go to on March. The children made it with pepper boxes. So, they can see the growing cucumbers in the classroom, too. The children’s love for the plant really makes us so motivated~~ Doesn’t it?
